Art

I’m after some art. I’m actually after some Warhol, (yeah right in my dreams) this stuff goes for upwards of $10,000 and then some!
Now I’ve seen some screenprints sell on ebay. They are atributed to sunday b. morning, whoever that is? The story goes that a group of printers from Warhols ‘Factory’ fell out with the great man and went off to Belgium with a few sets of original screens, things like Marilyn, Soup Cans and some Flowers. They apparently knocked out a stack of these images in the early 70’s, edition numbers unknown, and just to stick it to Warhol they rubber stamped the back “fill in your own signature here” because Warhol believed the value of the image was in his signature.
Now I have the opportunity to purchase one of these but how the hell do I know how genuine it is. Obviously at the price they are selling for they are not true collectors items but if they have a decent bit of history attached and look good then why not! They are a decent size and come in all kinds of loud colours. I’ve emailed the Warhol Foundation to see if they can furnish me with any more info about sunday b. mornings prolific work. We’ll see what response I get!
