Some art answers

Got a reply from someone at Sothebys about the Sunday B Morning prints from ebay. The real ones, those are the ones with the black stamp on the back not blue, are worth a few quid but even they aren’t what they claim to be. Here is the answer I got…

The Sunday B. Morning editions of the Warhol
Marilyns are reproductions and were not authorised by Warhol. They were
printed from close approximations to the original screens and to bear a
close similarity to the Originals, however as reproductions their value is
purely decorative, and they generally sell for £300-400 each depending on
the colours and the condition (traditionally the most popular Marilyns are
those printed in pink on pink and in black and silver grey) Although one can
occasionally buy a complete set of all 10 for approximately $1,500

The lady at Sothebys that I spoke to said they were worth about £10!!
